Shape it, move it, be it! EYW 2017 Spain-Portugal
Training Course
4-6 May 2017 | Galicia, Spain
Have you participated in any of the activities of the E+: Youth in Action Program? Do you want to share your experience? Do you have ideas that you can put into action in your organization? Then this is your event, come to celebrate and share!
It is a 3-day cross-border event between Spain and Portugal to celebrate the 8th edition of the European Youth Week 2017
Through: Thematic workshops, debates, creation of promotional material and other activities to share and celebrate, putting the spotlight on inspiring stories of the people and informing about the benefits of E+ - partly through the sharing of past experiences of ex-participants.
Main aim:
To celebrate the contribution young people make to Europe and to encourage young people to participate in Erasmus+. In this event we want to learn, share and celebrate.
Specific objectives:
- Analyze the positive impact of the Erasmus+ program through different levels such as:
• Personal development
• Inclusion and sustainable development
• Improving employability
• Active participation in society...
- Explore the concept of European citizenship.
- Promote different ways of participation, helping to shape the individual future and the future of Europe.
- Reflect on European youth and their union from solidarity.
- Demonstrate how individuals have used Erasmus+ to promote values such as solidarity, inclusion or active citizenship to make a real impact and change their communities and the lives of the people around them.
- Inform young people of how they can take part and fully benefit from the diverse opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and how to boost the mobility of people with fewer opportunities.
Methodology:
During the course participants will first explore a set of key concepts, share and analyze best practices while doing a constant match between their own national/regional realities and trying to then identify common aspects between both countries.
The methodology of the course is based on the principles of non-formal education. Learning from experience will be a fundamental pillar in the way the activity will be facilitated.
