Seeds of Change and Empowerment

Training Course

3-9 July 2021 | Acumuer (Huesca), Spain

This training course aims to empower youth workers to design, plan and implement activities and projects that connect us to ourselves, the group and the planet.

The course will offer a program based on deep ecology, mindfulness and body movement.

We feel these approaches are a suitableg way to facilitate a conscious response to the mix of ongoing crises (Climate, Covid-19, Economy...). The same way we believe the activities proposed during the

The aim of this training course is to offer an experience in nature to reflect, learn, care and open emotionally in a safe, diversity-welcoming space.

During a week, the group will become a temporary intentional community, that is, a space where we can learn in all directions and enrich ourselves in many different levels, cognitive, emotional, human… and offers an opportunity to establish personal links that may help develop future collaborations.

Our intention is that the participants replicate this safe space and methods used in your local level.

The training will:

// Offer a space to share the emotions that pop up with this news and the reality we live in, connect with other people like you, realise we’re not alone in this fight, learn from each other
// Promote a more conscious and caring culture.
// Explore the concept of Regenerative Culture, that is, ways to caringly sustain our actions for healingthe planet and all the forms of life that live in it.
// Identify the separation of nature and come back to feeling part of it
// Promote reflection upon the political dimension of ecology
// Learn to identify, cope and manage emotions from the Gestalt Therapy perspective
// Use body movement as a way to connect with oneself and with others
// Help develop the potential use of learning outcomes within the contexts of the participants, the reflection of the process (with the Youthpass) and networking for future cooperation.
