OUR School has spent the last decades developing a revolutionary educational method, and is now offering YOU the chance to benefit from all OUR hard work. OUR Training strategy is comprised of three stages, meant to turn you – practitioners in the field of education with varying degrees of experience – into experts in using OUR Method, which will then become YOUR method... Aim of the Training Course To increase quality of educational projects, on the local, national and international levels. Target Group and Expected Personal\Professional Development This Training Course is a Phase I course - aimed at novice and experienced educators, trainers, leaders and facilitators who want to improve their facilitation and communication skills. Participants will improve their competences by learning micro and macro skills for human interaction and will be empowered to take on meaningful action in this field. The Training Course will provide participants with deep insight on: · What is communication? · What are communicationS? · What is a setting? · What is facilitation? · The relationship between communication, a setting and facilitation · What are the different types of facilitation skills? · Which types of skills different facilitators need? · Which facilitation skills do you need? · How do you facilitate in different settings? · How do you plan a good facilitation processes? · Some advanced facilitator skills and tips · Leveraging disruptions Graduates of this training will be capable of better engaging their audience and successfully delivering interesting and unique projects and activities. They will also be able to apply to one of OUR Phase II Courses, if they choose to continue their journey of mastering OUR Method. About the training team: Our School OUR School works to cultivate moral values, independent thinking, social awareness and political activism through bottom-up education, in an attempt to facilitate constructive social and political change. OUR School’s mission is carried out, using the OUR School Method – a vast array of methods, which our founder Haggai has been developing for more than three decades, and which is being successfully employed for over 15 years in the NIR School of the heart. OUR School works to introduce this method to educators and social change-agents world-wide, by teaching it in our training courses and using it in our other projects. Verein Naturkultur was established in 2010 as a nongovernmental organisation.
The Main mission of Verein Naturkultur can be described as followed:
to support young people and youth workers in their personal and professional development in the field of intercultural work and self-empowerment in order to promote intercultural tolerance, entrepreneurship, self-responsibility and environmental awareness.
To achieve this mission, Naturkultur provides outdoor-based activities, seminar and training workshops for youth workers and trainers, and intercultural youth exchanges for young people.

Costs

Participant pay a €100 participation fee which will be deducted from the travel reimbursement. Full board accommodation and food are covered by the funding programme. Participants organize their own travel to and from the training venue. Participants buy their own train\bus\flight tickets, and are reimbursed for them at the end of the course, up to a sum determined according to their home country. Please consult the attached call for participants for more details on travel. We do not want money to be the factor that stops suitable candidates from attending our course. Excellent candidates - who can convincingly demonstrate their suitability for this course and the importance of this course for their professional development -who will not be able to afford the participation fee can contact us for a scholarship - a small amount of those are available to help finance the course. Selected participants requesting a scholarship may be required to provide further information in support of the request. Scholarships are given at the training team’s discretion.
