Training Course

6-9 May 2021 | Online, Greece

A 4day training course for trainers, educators &youth workers who wish to explore the various aspects of online GBV. The participamts will explore an intervention- educational model & tools against cyberbullying, when working with young people & teenagers

Duration: May 6-9 from 10:00 to 14:00 CET.

We are looking for up to 16 Educators/ Trainers from Greece and/or Cyprus working with children and adolescents and/or teachers working in Primary and Secondary Education.

Through this workshop, participants will learn how they can help prevent cyberbullying and how they can work against gender based stereotypes.

For this reason, we have designed a non-formal intervention model which is based on innovative and digital educational methodologies and will be presented during the workshops.

The purpose of the training program is to provide Trainers, Educators and Teachers with useful working tools on the problems and effects of cyber-violence among young people (aged 12-17), with the ultimate goal of implementing in the respective educational communities where the respective Trainers, Educators and Teachers work.

Specific objectives

  • To review our profession as trainers
  • Create a dialogue about stereotypes in the field of formal and non-formal learning and how they are related to Gender Based Violence
  • To explore the role that technology plays and
  • To explore the tools we have for effective dealing.
