Online Training Course: NO Neet to worry - Positive thinking for N.E.E.Ts and E.S.Leavers re-engagement is an online Training Course with the aims to, stimulating reflection on the situation of young NEETs and ESLs and on the context and personal motivations that lead them to find themselves in this state of static limbo, and on the other hand providing useful methodologies and tools towards a path of discovery and analysis of the concept of positive thinking as an indispensable approach to know and make the best use of the potential of each of us and to make it the key to encouraging this vulnerable category.
The project will focus on adopting positive attitude, fostering resilience and soft skills useful for youth workers to be used to support these vulnerable groups in re-engage in society.
THE MAIN TOPICS ADDRESSED BY THE PROJECT ARE;
- Early School Leaving/combating failure in education
- Labour market issues incl. career guidance/youth unemployment
- Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy)
THE MAIN AIMS OF THE PROJECT ARE:
The training will have 8 sessions in total and it be online on the following days and will be from 14.00 to 18.00 CET on the Zoom platform:
- 22nd of March – Welcome and introduction to the TC and main topics
- 23rd of March – Discussed on Youth work and reflect on positive thinking and how it can be useful to your target
- 24th of March – S.W.O.T analysis “work on participant’s strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats”
- 25th of March – employability skills and working on the re-engagement process, sense of initiative and leadership attitude
- 28th of March – Practical tools and methodologies for NEETs and Es leavers re-engagement
- 29th of March – Creating awareness campaign through workshop, use of ITC tools
- 30th of March – Creating awareness campaign through workshops, use of ITC tools
- 31st of March – Erasmus+, European funding opportunities for young people, youth pass and networking.
We are looking for youth workers, project leaders, or youth facilitators working in the proposed theme, with a particular focus on those who live and work in disadvantaged geographical, social, cultural and economic conditions from 12 countries (Italy, Croatia, Greece, Iceland, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Slovenia & France). They must be +18 years old.
Given the limited number of participants, please register your candidate by the 10th of March. You will receive an email with the selection results after the 11 of March.
The training course “NO Neet to Worry “Positive Thinking for N.E.E.Ts and E.S. Leavers Re-Engagement”, is organised within the Erasmus+, KA1 – Learning Mobility of Individuals – Mobility of youth workers

CENTRO PER LO SVILUPPO CREATIVO “DANILO DOLCI” is a non-profit organisation located in Palermo, born in 1958 from the experience and work of Danilo Dolci, a social activist, sociologist, pacifist and educator.
It is a non-profit organization that involves young people and adults and has successfully operated for more than ten years mainly on the educational sector in collaboration with schools, universities, institutions, associations and social groups both at local and international level.
CSC “Danilo Dolci” works at local and European levels, focusing on two main pillars:
- the Local Development, starting from the needs of the community and paying special attention to the most disadvantaged target groups;
- the Creativity, promoting innovation in education and using new methodologies to empower young, adults and professionals.
Particularly, the work of the Centre is based on the Reciprocal Maieutic Approach, a methodology of research and self-analysis useful to develop creativity, communication, cooperation and active participation.
