Training Course

TC we will empower participating youth leaders to more efficiently and extensively use video-tools in their everyday work, for improving the educational process at the events and for taking the material developed and results further to wider communities.
The type of the project is TC using interactive and creative methods of non-formal education. This activity will last for seven working days and will be organized in Brzece, Kopaonik, Serbia. TC will gather 30 participants from 10 different European countries and it aims to develop competences of youth workers/leaders in using video as a tool for working with peace building issues. The main objectives of the project are: - To explore the ways, techniques, means and possibilities of amateur video-production with youth workers and youth leaders active in European youth work. - To introduce participants with Stop motion movie technique and how it can be used in solving peace building issues. - To learn together the nowadays new programmes and platforms supporting video creation and dissemination as well as the basic rules of it such as respect to copyright, creative commons etc. - To promote young people’s active participation in society, and especially to empower youth to take an active role in building peaceful society. - To develop further activities in the youth work, exploiting the results got at the TC and disseminating them further to their peers and communities. - To promote tolerance, equality and solidarity among different cultures, nationalities, ethnic groups, etc. - To promote ERASMUS + programme as tool for cooperation. Through this TC we will empower the participating youth workers and youth leaders to more efficiently and extensively use the video-tools in their everyday work, both for improving the educational process at the events themselves and also for taking the material developed and results achieved further to wider communities. The designed program will reach its objectives by using the various methods of NFE as the most suitable way of education of youth that promotes safe environment of education through use of own experience and enrichment by tools and resources.

Educational center was founded in July 2000 as non government, non political and non profit organization. The Mission of ECK is promotion and development of civil society, trough life long non formal education and support to active social engagement of youth. ECK is aimed at two areas of priorities: Implementation of life long non formal education of youth in the field of democracy, civil society, human rights, the respect of differences and culture of peace and non violence and Support of active youth participation in social life of the community. From 2006 we are accredited organization for European Voluntary Service Since 2008, ECK was a Contact point organization in Serbia, for the Youth in Action program. ECK is the member of several national and international networks: Federation of nongovernmental organization Serbia, National association of youth workers Serbia, National coalition for decentralization, South East Youth European Network, Regional Youth against discrimination.

Costs

The accommodation, food and working material costs are fully covered. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to rules of the ERASMUS + programme. Reimbursed amount will be transferred on personal or organizational accounts, right upon receiving all original travel documents. Please, keep all your receipts, tickets, boarding passes in order to be able to reimburse your costs. There is no participation fee for this training course.
