Module International - Intercultural Learning in Youth Exchanges

Overall aim of the training course: To raise understanding and to enable participants to implement intercultural learning in a youth exchange (Action1 of the Youth in Action programme) Objectives: Intercultural learning: - To raise awareness about what is INTERCULTURAL LEARNING and what’s behind it - To raise awareness about an ICL dimension in a Youth Exchange - To raise awareness about the importance of intercultural learning in a Youth Exchange - To increase competences for preparing and implementing the intercultural process in a youth exchange - To raise understanding how to use ICL tools properly International teamwork: - To raise awareness of the importance of team work in Action 1 - Youth Exchanges - To raise team work competencies (communication and cultural background, decision-making, feedback) - To gain experience in how to deal with conflicts in intercultural teams Group dynamics: - To raise understanding of group dynamics in intercultural context The Programme YOUTH / Youth in Action: - To provide information about what is behind the Programme YOUTH & Youth in Action Youth Exchanges: To provide hints (tips & tricks) in order to increase the chances for successful Youth Exchanges
