Inclusion Workers is a project, consisting in a training and seminar, as a response to the needs to train youth work in becoming more experienced in working with young Roma and increase the number of young Roma involved in youth activities.
The general aim of our project is to raise the capacity of the Roma and non Roma civil society to work with Roma young people. The general objectives of the project are: - To raise the capacity the 10 partner NGO’s to work with young Roma; - To foster the use of the guide “9 steps in working with Roma youngsters”; - To increase the participation of young Roma in the life of the local communities; - To promote Non Formal education and practical learning for young Roma. The activities of the project consist in: A1: Training Course That consists in 8 days training organized between 10 -20.06.2017 in Milcoveni, Romania. Location: Marabu Camp, Milcoveni, Romania No. of participants: 7 participants / country Partner countries: Czech Republic, Poland, Macedonia, Italy, Romania. Application form: http://tmel.me/InclusionWorkers_appform Activity schedule: http://tmel.me/InclusionWorkers_schedule_A1 After the training will follow a practical activity organized by each country group home in the partner country in the period of 7 month between the two meetings. This activity will take place in each of the partner countries. A2: Seminar That consists in evaluation and good practices seminar organized in December 2017 in Litomysl, Czech Republic. Location: Castel Brewery, Litomyšl, Czech Republic No. of participants: 7 participants / country Partner countries: Czech Republic, Poland, Macedonia, Italy, Romania. It is mandatory that the participants of the training to participate also in the seminar. The working methods: -Sharing and learning: sharing of participants about their experiences; knowledge about the issue and different practices of the various partner organizations on grassroots level; -Erasmus+ introduction about aims, actions, opportunities; -Visit of local Roma community in Romania: get in touch with the local community, give space for informal conversations, get to know local realities and raise the interest of local youth activists in the international encounter and the issue of the training; -Introduction of the guide "9 steps in working with Roma youngsters" we will use practical some methods from the guide; -Follow-up initiatives: field work for a practical outcome and results which go beyond the project, initiate the self-initiative of the participants; -Reflection about methods, working group on follow-up actions, concrete planning of actions in the working group; sharing the results in the plenary; -Evaluation: evaluation by all participants, individually, small groups, plenary, written evaluation; -Documentation (filmed and written) and promotion of good practices online.
