Face Up / Münster Edition

Face Up is a long-term youth project coordinated by the European Youth4Media Network. The next edition of its international training courses will take place in Münster, Germany, in December 2015. Participants (youth leaders and volunteers of youth groups and youth organisations) will develop their skills and competences in the field of media and communication, especially focusing on video-making and editing. The participants will be supported by the Media Trainer concept carried out by professional Youth4Media journalists. The structure of the training course connects theory, practice, self-directed learning and non-formal learning methods. By the end of the training course, participants will be qualified to act as multipliers in their organizations and help their peers in using a wide range of media technologies. During the practical phase of the training course, participants will create creative media products on the topic of globalism. Participants are expected: - to be available for the whole duration of the activity; - to be interested in the methods and the main topic of the training course; - to adapt their newly gained knowledge and developed skills in their local youth groups; - to have a good command of English; - to represent Finland, Poland or the United Kingdom.
