Partnership-building Activity

The aim of the project is to promote and support the use of EVS within a tailor made approach to support in the best way the pathway of young people from NEET* to education, employment or training based on needs and possibilities of the young people.
This project is organised in the frame of long term strategy that will support young people's transition from NEET to education, employment or training by involving more NEETs in quality EVS projects. This activity will bring together organizations working with EVS projects and/or NEETs and explore the possibilities for cooperation to provide EVS as a quality pathway for NEET to education, employment or training. Activity will focus on setting up networks of interest and cooperation for practitioners working with EVS and/or NEET on both national and international levels. Objectives of the activity: -to synchronise the knowledge and understanding of EVS as a learning process and the target group’s needs; -to create understanding of the benefits of the long-term holistic approach to supporting learning pathways of target group and to identify EVS as an important and beneficial part of it; -to create understanding regarding the role of organizations in the learning pathways of the young people, including the needs that can be covered by EVS; -to identify what do the organizations need in order to include EVS as part of learning pathways of young people to the full potential of the programme; -understanding the quality of inclusion EVS – including quality of partnerships and holistic approach; -identifying the needs for next steps – building the network-type of cooperation and thinking of future activities for partnership development. Profile of participants: Representatives of organisations who are at least 18 years old and have understanding: - of the target group (NEET young people); - of EVS as a learning process. *NEET- education, employment or training.

Costs

This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
