The training course "Culturize your Project" aims to create new partnerships and to plan future projects in the Euromediterranean youth field within the 2021-2027 youth Programs in the principle of intercultural learning.

Culturize your Project is the second edition of the training course Culturize your Competences that was organised by Giosef Italy in May 2022.

The project aims to create new partnerships and to plan future projects in the euromed youth field within the 2021-2027 youth Programs.

The main objective of this training course are:

  • to develop the capacity of the participants in building mobility youth project in the Euromed youth cooperation;
  • to enhance the competencies (knowledge, skills and attitude) of the participants in using the available European programmes (E+/ESC/others) to apply for new project; 
  • to build regional partnership between youth organizations in the EU and South Med countries;
  • to foster the intercultural learning and exchange of tools and practice in the Region.
     

The countries involved are: Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon and Tunisia.

The Training Course will be held in Palermo at the convento dei Carmelitani in the Ballarò from 5th of march 2023 (arrival day) - 12th of march 2023 (departure day).

The working language will be mainly English, linguistic competence is not a fundamental requirement, indicatively the activities will be held in English and Arabic.

The Training Course participants will be youth workers, trainers, project managers and youth leaders:

  • that have at least 1 experience in Erasmus Plus/European solidarity Corps;
  • active in local youth work but interested in developing competences to work internationally;
  • actively working (voluntarily or paid) within partner associations and with extensive knowledge of the local context of origin;
  • able to present and multiply the dissemination workshop and strategies used by their organizations;
  • willing to follow the project follow-up phases in the new 2021-2027 programming.

The Associazione Giosef – Giovani Senza Confini (Youth Without Borders), was born in April 1998 to promote active European citizenship and youth mobility. It is engaged in the inclusion and participation of youth in all its forms and at all levels; It aims to create new spaces for youth participation in public life, so that young people themselves are able to provide answers to the needs of new generations; we support the construction of a Europe of solidarity and hospitality, founded on the ideals of democracy, peace, tolerance and acceptance of diversity; It promotes paths of non-formal education and job training in intercultural perspective.
Our network is present in these following cities: Torino, Firenze, Napoli, Casapesenna (CE), Grottaminarda (AV), Potenza, Lecce, Reggio Calabria, Palermo, Enna e Siracusa.
Our organisation promotes opportunity to network interactions; it is part of the Consiglio Nazionale dei Giovani (National Youth Coucil in Italy) and has great experiences in coordination and administrative management of European projects, but also in the international cooperation work.

Accommodation and food

The group will host at Domus Carmelitana Palermo Onlus, in Ballarò, Palermo (Italy).

Accomodation and food are covered by the project.

The group will be hosted in double rooms with a bathroom inside each room. No single room are available in the venue.

 

Travel reimbursement

The travel will be reimbursed follow the distance calculation rules of the Erasmus Plus Program 2022:

  • Tunisia: 180,00 euro max;
  • Austria, Germany, Spain and Turkey: 275,00 euro max;
  • Palestine and Lebanon: 360,00 euro max;
  • Italy: 0. 

Exceptional cost:

  • Visa and insurance for southmeda participants will be covered for a maximum of 100,00 euro;
  • Palestinian travel to reach Amman airport will be covered for a maximum amout of 200,00 euro.

Travels and Visa will be reimbursed only upon providing original invoices, receipts and boarding passes.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
