Coaching for youth 2.0

Training Course

17-25 September 2021 | Novaci, Romania

The project objectives: -Increasing the capacity of 27 youth workers to provide coaching services to young people with reduced opportunities (eg NEETs) during the project -Increasing employment opportunities -Development of a new coaching program

A major problem in recent years in the European Union is the increase in the number of young people at risk, and in particular the number of young NEETs, which at the micro level adversely affects both the local communities they are part of (including the family) and at the macro level have an adverse effect on the national economy of the respective countries negatively affecting GDP by up to 4%.

Considering that approx. 15% of young people in Europe aged 15-29 are in the NEETs category, meaning that 14 million young people, we want to run this project aside, both to help young NEETs to find a job or to continue their studies , but also to work with young people in our local communities who we know they are more likely to get into the NEETs group - by providing coaching and personalized mentorship. Generations of young people lost today will cost the EU in the medium and long term far more than the solutions now identified, they must not become an invisible generation, so the partners in this project, at the urging of the young people, have proposed to identify and make known good practices on a large scale.

The main objectives of the project are:

-Increasing the capacity of 27 youth workers to provide coaching services to young people with reduced opportunities (eg NEETs) during the project

-Increasing employment opportunities for min. 270 young people from 9 European countries during 9 months

-Development of a new coaching program by 9 org. from the EU over 9 months
