Bees Inspired: A Hive for Female Entrepreneurs

The purpose of the youth exchange is to fight youth unemployment by means of entrepreneurship. We want to bring together young women facing a variety of obstacles who want to start up their own business in the next 12 months.

The project has been inspired by the reality surrounding girls and young women who want to set up their own business. We want to support your ideas, help you develop them and find a market for them. We also want you to get inspired and coached by successful female entrepreneurs who have gone just the same way you are. This project will listen to your specific needs and provide you with space to share and learn from each other. The ultimate goal of the project is to create a long-lasting supportive community of confident female entrepreneurs across borders.

Bees Empowered is an informal group based in the Netherlands. We are interested in helping youth to overcome the challenges that they are facing in the contemporary world. We are working to inspire youngsters to develop their talents and to achieve their dreams. By organising and participating in youth exchanges, trainings and various activities, Bees Empowered aims to offer young people the space and opportunity to reflect, learn and develop new skills.
Bees Empowered believes in the power of non-formal education methodologies and these are deep-rooted in our activities. Bees Empowered is interested in topics related to social entrepreneurship, inclusion, youth employment, personal growth and equal chances. We are a newly established entity and the project “Bees Inspired: A Hive for Female Entrepreneurs” is our first undertaking.

Costs

1. Participants from the Netherlands will not get their travel costs reimbursed. Participants from Bulgaria will receive EUR 170 total for their travel. 2. Yes, all costs covered. 3. Yes, EUR 50
