Art of YOUth for European Citizenship

The Project Art of YOUth for European Citizenship is the train¬ing course supported by the Education, Audiovisual & Culture Execu¬tive Agency (EACEA), in the framework of the Youth in Action Pro¬gramme, under the action Cooperation with the Neighboring Countries of the European Union – Training and Networking activities. The CSO PUNKT from Montenegro has a hosting role providing 8 days training in coastal town of Bar, Montenegro, for about 26 participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Ireland, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia, and United Kingdom. The main focus of the project is promoting European citizenship and values, and bringing Europe closer to its youth, with contem¬porary arts (in European context). Objectives: • To improve participants knowledge related to European citizen¬ship and other relevant EU topics; • To increase participants competencies to use arts and culture as a means for civic actions, tool for active participation and positive social changes; • To provide space for development of participants art works and public presentation of created art pieces; • To ensure space for exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants of different nationalities (EU and SEE) thus facilitating intercultural learning.
