Training of Trainers on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship (TOTEE) & Youth@Work PoT

SPANISH NATIONAL AGENCY is looking for

30 PARTICIPANTS (trainers, facilitators, educators)

Application deadline:

02/12/2018

Description

A YOUTH@WORK TOTEE

The Youth@Work Strategic Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship of Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres is organising the TOTEE in order to support the development of its own pool of trainers. The PoT will provide training and facilitation services to Erasmus+ National Agencies (NAs) and SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres (SALTOs) in the framework of the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership.

In 2018, a consortium of 11 NAs and 4 SALTOs decided to take a new approach to supporting employability and entrepreneurship among young people and professionals and therefore launched the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership, with the aim to better support these priorities by working collaboratively, based on a common strategy.

Youth@Work is an alliance of the NAs of Turkey (the leading NA), Cyprus, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Spain, and the UK, with the support of the SALTO-YOUTH Eastern Europe and Caucasus (Poland), Euromed and Good Practices (France), South East Europe (Slovenia) and Training and Cooperation (Germany) Resource Centres. It runs from January 2018 to December 2020, when the Erasmus+ Programme ends.

Youth@Work will introduce new initiatives, whilst building on and continuing previous youth employability and entrepreneurship-focused projects. From now on, all projects organised by the above-mentioned NAs and SALTOs in the area of youth employability and entrepreneurship, such as conferences, seminars, training courses, trainings of trainers, study visits, online courses and platforms, will be under the umbrella of Youth@Work.

TOTEE FOR THE CREATION OF THE YOUTH@WORK POOL OF TRAINERS

The main outcome of this activity will be the creation of the Youth@Work PoT that will serve as an important resource of knowledge, skills, experience and expertise that will contribute to capacity building, networking and exchange of knowledge and good practice activities that the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership will organise.

We are looking for motivated and experienced professionals (trainers, facilitators, educators) to participate in this TOTEE and become members of the Youth@Work PoT.

The TOTEE is not planning to train you from scratch on the topics of youth employability and entrepreneurship nor to turn you into a trainer/facilitator, but to provide a platform for sharing methods, tools, experiences, approaches, questions and challenges, and therefore transfer learning from one another and expand it.

The TOTEE will provide you with a platform to:

- Update your knowledge on youth employability and entrepreneurship (trends, challenges, needs, ongoing and upcoming projects etc.).

- Exchange experiences with the other trainers, as well as methods, tools and approaches.

- Express your ideas, suggestions on areas that need to be explored further by the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership.

- Work on concrete case studies and bring solutions developed collaboratively.

- Contribute to the development of new project ideas and tools.

OBJECTIVES AND TASKS OF THE YOUTH@WORK PoT

- Establish an important pool of experts, whose expertise will be used in planning of the Youth@Work projects.

- Provide services (trainings, facilitation, moderation and consultancy) to the Youth@Work Partnership, and its member institutions.

- Ensure the quality of Youth@Work activities and contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Youth@Work activities in cooperation with the Member NAs and SALTOs.

- Foster a space for education, creativity and exchange of good practice and experience among trainers.

- Establish a functional framework that will act as a recognized body consulting on youth employability and entrepreneurship issues according to the trainers’ expertise.
