Description
SALTO-Youth Participation & Information Resource Centre (SALTO PI) is organising a three-day training for Communication and Information Officers of the National Agencies of Erasmus+:Youth In Action. The training will have a specific focus on how to communicate Youth Participation within Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme.
We're looking for a motivated and qualified facilitator to make this training inspirational and useful for about 50-60 participants.
The aim of the training:
The Communication and Information Officers Training (CIOST) will focus on how to better communicate youth participation related issues. How to engage audiences? How to speak clearly abut the Erasmus+ programme? How to communicate when things are unclear and handle changes? How to use new technologies and PR methods to better promote youth participation among young people and wider society. The training will also provide best practices and learning points, case studies and active learning methods about different important Public Relations related topics.
The detailed programme is being finalised and will be concluded with the help of the facilitator.
Time and venue:
The training will last 3 full working days and will take place in the beginning of October 2018 (dates and location to be confirmed). The facilitator is expected to take part of one virtual preparatory meeting and one preparatory meeting which will take place in Estonia.
Requested trainer profile
Requirements for the facilitator:
- Experience in facilitating international seminars, conferences, etc
- Good understanding and experience in the field of Public Relations and Marketing
- Good understanding about youth field or/and civic society
- Interest and experience in new learning methodologies and tools
- Experience in creating logic and target group based agendas, programmes, formats
- Good command of English language
Working conditions
Working conditions, salary, etc:
- Working language is English
- The facilitator should be available to participate in one virtual meeting (agreed mutually and takes place in the second half of June)
- The facilitator should be available to participate in one preparatory meeting which will take place in the beginning of July
- The trainer receives 320 EUR salary per day (total of 5 days – 1600 EUR)
- SALTO PI covers travel costs, food and accommodation during the preparatory meeting and during the event
Team composition
About the organising team:
- We will engage one facilitator who will receive support by the SALTO PI Coordinators (two people)
- The organising team will also receive support by the Communication Officers of the Estonian National Agency (2 people)
- One preparatory meeting with representatives from five National Agencies has already taken place in May where main needs and ideas have been mapped
