“International Solidarity project meet-up”

2.- 5.3.2023 - Lithuania (incl. arrival and dep. days)

The Austrian National Agency of the European Solidarity Corps Programme (OeAD) together with the SALTO European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre is looking for 2 facilitators who will be involved in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the “International Solidarity project meet-up“ hosted by the Lithuanian National agency.

The “International Solidarity project meet-up” is a 2,5 working days meeting 

The meeting is organised by the Lithuanian NA in cooperation with the European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre.

Objectives of the Meeting

Solidarity project organizer and participants will have the opportunity to 

  • To create an international network and strengthen the European dimension of Solidarity projects
  • to showcase their solidarity project
  • to be part of the international solidarity corps community
  • celebrate successes 
  • promote future possibilities in Erasmus+ Youth and ESC (e.g. youth exchanges, youth participation activities, internat. volunteering opportunities, Europeers)

 

The target group of the Meeting

The meeting is addressed to  young people actively involved in the implementation of local Solidarity projects (just approved, ongoing or recently finished) from Programme countries.

 

Dates and venue

3.- 4.3.2023 (Arrival day for participants 2.3., organizing a light afternoon/evening program is expected, departure day 5.3.2023)

First Prep-Meeting online  14.9.2022 - 15.00 CET

2,5 full working days

The meeting will be held residential in Lithuania

Working language:

English

 

Requested trainer profile

Candidates shall:

  • Have experience in facilitating international training courses and seminars;
  • Have knowledge of the European Solidarity Corps Programme, with a special focus on solidarity projects
  • To be able to work within an  international team;
  • Be available for the full duration of the event and the prep meetings Have a very good level of spoken and written English

 

Tasks/duties of facilitators:

  • to actively cooperate with the second facilitator and logistic team on spot
  • actively facilitating and attending the preparatory meetings (online); 
  • to prepare the methodology and the design of the meeting;
  • to implement the 2 full days of the meeting and to design a nice informal welcome for the arrival day (afternoon/evening)
  • to evaluate the meeting;
  • to create a final report within a time frame of 4 weeks after the event

 

Working conditions

Facilitators’ fee - Daily fee: 350 € 

Days calculation: 

2 days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report)

2,5 working days during the meeting

Overall:  2,5 days x 2 (for new format) plus 2 days for preparation & follow-up

Total fee: 7 x 350 € =  2450 € (incl.VAT)

 

Team composition

Facilitators team:

2 facilitators to implement and facilitate the meeting in Lithuania in cooperation with the host agency

Members of the Preparatory Team

National agency colleagues and SALTO ESC will support the the meeting in the preparation phase
