Call for facilitators: International European Solidarity Corps Quality Label Experts meeting

Description

The National Agency ERASMUS+ Programme for the Field of Youth and Sport, Slovakia, is looking for 2 facilitators who will be involved in the reporting of the “International Quality Label Experts meeting“, in the frame of the European Solidarity Corps. 

“International Quality Label Experts meeting” is a 3,5 working days meeting focused on the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label procedures.

The meeting will be an opportunity for sharing experiences with Quality Label - accreditations in Programme and Partner countries,  finding common understanding of quality standards in the Quality (QL) process, better understanding of knowledge of the Quality Label and the role of experts in the process of QL. At the same time, the meeting should support the motivation of experts and their personal and professional development needed for further work within the Quality Label and European Solidarity Corps topic. The meeting should also significantly contribute to improving the quality of the process of Quality Label as such.

The meeting is organized by the Slovakian National Agency in cooperation with the European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre and the international QL Working Group.

Objectives of the meeting

The overall aim of the meeting is improving the quality of the existing  Quality Label (QL) process and of the work of QL experts.

Quality Label experts will have the opportunity to 

1) share experience, learn from each other, harness the expertise and knowledge existing in the network of the QL experts; 

2) facilitate connections and consolidate community culture among external and internal QL experts; 

3) learn about the new QL process in the Solidarity Corps Programme and the procedures for the different actions directly from the Commission; 

4) reflect and discuss on the different roles of the QL experts;

5) Have space and time to reflect on the specific challenges of our times - and formulate recommendations for the future of  the  European Solidarity Corps programme

The target group of the meeting

The meeting is addressed to representatives of National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres responsible for the Quality Label agenda, for external Quality Label experts with long-term as well as short-term experience from programme and partner countries. 

Dates and venue

11.-15.11.2024 - 3,5 working days

The meeting will be held residential in Slovakia  

Working language: English

Requested trainer profile

Candidates shall:

• Have experience in facilitating international training courses and seminars;
• Have experience in facilitating bigger groups (50-80 participants);
• Have deeper knowledge and experience in the topic of the meeting;
• Have knowledge of the European Solidarity Corps Programme, with a special focus on topic of Quality Label;
• To be able to work with international team;
• Have a very good level of spoken and written English;
• Up to date digital competences necessary to use conference tools; 
• Experience with online open agenda tools is a plus.

Tasks/duties of facilitators

• to cooperate with other facilitator(s), the reporting team and the prep-team, including actively attending the preparatory meetings (online); 
• to prepare the methodology and the design of the meeting;
• to implement the meeting ;
• to evaluate the meeting;
• to support the meeting´s report together with the rapporteurs.

Working conditions

Facilitators’ fee

Daily fee: 330 € 

Days calculation: 

2 days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report)

3,5 working days during the meeting

Overall:  3,5 days x 2 + 2 days = 9 days

Total fee: 9 x 330 € =  2970€

Board, lodging and travel costs to reach the venue are fully covered for the duration of the meeting.
