SALTO Inclusion & Diversity Resource Centre is looking for a creative and enthusiastic content manager for its social media channels. 

The content manager will be responsible for creating, scheduling and sharing engaging content that reflects the work and mission of SALTO I&D and the promotion of Inclusion & Diversity in the EU youth programmes (Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps). 

The content manager is expected to cooperate with the SALTO I&D team and to follow the objectives of the SALTO I&D social media strategy, use the SALTO Visual Identity and be compliant with copyright and data protection laws.

Expected tasks:

  • Managing the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages of SALTO Inclusion & Diversity.
  • Collecting content from SALTO I&D resources (e.g. publications, research, I&D tools, good practices) via social media platforms and monthly newsletter.
  • Suggesting and sharing content from the SALTO I&D resources, and from trusted partners and organisations;
  • Curating and sharing good practices and projects that give recognition to Inclusion & Diversity,
  • Curating and sharing research articles and publications about Inclusion & Diversity;
  • Sharing training opportunities and activities from SALTO I&D and trusted partners and organisations;
  • Sharing news and projects from the SALTO network, and from Erasmus+ programme Youth and European Solidarity Corps in the Inclusion & Diversity dimension;
  • Developing informative visual posts on SALTO I&D and I&D topics, projects, achievements (e.g. video, animation, infographics)
  • Developing interactive posts (e.g quizzes and polls)
  • Collecting, monitoring and analyzing social metrics, keeping track of subscriptions, and making improvements accordingly;
  • Generating insights/reports of the social media activities for the SALTO ID team (and jointly defining further developments);

Requested trainer profile

  • Availability to start working from the beginning of August and produce regular content until the end of December 2020;
  • Creativity and ability to develop original and engaging content;
  • Capacity to create content for specific targets (youth workers, trainers, organisations, institutions) as well as for a wider audience;
  • Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language;
  • Familiar with SALTO, Inclusion & Diversity, youth work and Erasmus+/European Solidarity Corps, and with relevant resources, tools, good practices and news for the promotion of inclusion & diversity;
  • Experience with Facebook/Google ads;
  • Proven work experience as a content manager;
  • Experience with graphic design and/or video editing is highly advantageous;

Working conditions

  • Freelance contract (August - December 2020) with the possibility of extension;
  • We will provide access to social media management and publishing tools (e.g Hootsuite/Buffer, Canva) and a budget for Facebook and Google ads;

  • Remuneration to be agreed with SALTO I&D based upon a detailed budget proposal.

Team composition

The content manager will cooperate with the SALTO Inclusion & Diversity team consisting of 3 members.
