Call for Trainers Call for 4 trainers - "Mobility Taster" courses for inclusion organisations
Description
Mobility Taster: try mobility as a tool for inclusion This is a low-threshold short taster course (3 working days) for 25 inclusion workers (working with young people with fewer opportunities) to discover what Erasmus+ has to offer. Practical, hands-on, tailor-made offer to get new inclusion organisations on board. We aim to repeat this course regularly, so that NAs can send potential inclusion beneficiaries at short notice. Aim This short taster course aims to show inclusion organisations (new to the Programme) what Erasmus+ Youth in Action could do for them (and for their young people with fewer opportunities). The "Mobility Taster" should inspire, give concrete examples, but also a no-nonsense overview of the application process - and the support available for them. Concept The short duration (max 3 days) should make it easier for inclusion professionals to take part (less time away from the office). Repeating this course several times would allow NAs to send new inclusion organisations within relatively short notice after expressing interest in using mobility as a tool for young people with fewer opportunities.
Requested trainer profile
We are looking for trainers that can deliver such a short intense inspiring & motivating Mobility Taster using diverse methods. Trainers should be:
Working conditions
This course will run several times. The mini-pool of 4 trainers will develop the course concept at the prep meeting in CZ from 17-19 November 2015 (2 working days + travel) and online. In 2016, the Mobility Taster course (3 working days + travel) will be run twice. From 9 to 13 February 2016 in Finland and 21 to 25 September in Denmark (tentative dates). These courses will each be run by 2 or 3 of the trainers in different team compositions. After the 2016 courses, there will be an evaluation meeting with all trainers and partners (probably connected to the DK course) to finetune the concept where needed. For 2017, we foresee another 2 Mobility Taster courses (in cooperation with Turkish NA, one together with SALTO EECA). Applying trainers should be able to commit themselves for the whole process. The trainers will be contracted by SALTO Inclusion (JINT) and paid based on the SALTO trainer fees (most likely 290 € per training day x 3 = 870 € + the same amount as a lump sum for all prep, communication, reporting,....). The SALTO trainer fees for 2016 will be decided at the annual SALTO meeting 2015. These amounts are 'all-in'. The travel (2nd class, economy) to the meetings and courses and the food/lodging during the meetings and courses will be taken on board by either SALTO Inclusion or the host NA. Team composition
We are recruiting mini-pool of 4 trainers who, together with the NA-partners and SALTO Inclusion, develop the course concept. The different Mobility Taster courses however will only be run by 2 or 3 of the trainers, each time in different team compositions (see working conditions). Application & selection procedure
Apply no later than: 1 October 2015 23h59 CET Trainers who fit the selection criteria are invited to fill in the online form at http://onlineform.salto-youth.net/1376 and submit it before the application deadline. You will be informed about the selection by: 10 October 2015For more information
