Description

The Quality Bonus conference has as main intention to boost and support stakeholders of education and training of youth workers, and to contribute to the development of quality youth work in Europe and beyond. The conference will focus on systems and new opportunities for youth workers education and training by exploring topics related to the freshly renewed European Training Strategy (ETS), taking into account other strategic developments connected to it.

The spirit of the conference will be to give space to diverse inspirational approaches such as inputs, debates, peer-learning moments, workshops and, as before, meetings in national and/or thematic groups, etc.

The conference will be developed around three central axes:

  • The youth worker education and training today - initiatives and processes --> focus on the individuals and what supports their development.
  • The ‘world around’ youth worker education and training: it does not happen in a vacuum (strategies, policies) --> focus on the broader system(s).
  • Exploring other narratives: what is calling for what? What calls us to rethink our beliefs, motivation, call, wish, attitudes, understanding, values behind our involvement in youth work?
