Bridges for Trainers

The biennial conference Bridges for Trainers invites key actors to reflect on trends and core issues in the youth field and their effects on the work of trainers. Bridges for Trainers is organised within the long term cooperation project “Trainer Competence Development” aiming at supporting quality development of international training courses for youth workers by supporting competence of trainers.

Bridges for Trainers conferences brings together about 100-150 experienced trainers, train the trainers training providers as well as Erasmus+ NA and SALTO staff working with trainers and trainer pools.

The conferences take place in autumn/winter of 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020 and are linked to the European Training Strategy in the field of Youth. Further information about the “Trainer Competence Development” project can be found here.

The next edition of Bridges for Trainers will take place 17-20 November 2020 in Bucharest, Romania.

Bridges for Trainers 2018 took place 26-30 November 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Bridges for Trainers 2016 took take place from 28 November - 1 December 2016 in Vienna, Austria.

Bridges for Trainers 2014 took place from 8 -10 December 2014 in Bonn, Germany.
