Rules of SEE EVS trainings

Organisations are requested to register their volunteers for particular training at least 4 weeks before the activity. Before registering volunteers, please consider:

  • EVS On-arrival trainings target volunteers whose projects are long-term (more than 2 months or, more precisely, 60 days or more, excluding travel days). There is no possibility for our SALTO SEE in Erasmus+ to offer on-arrival trainings for short-term volunteers (up to 59 days, excluding travel days), no mattter if inclusion or group EVS. Project promoters are responsible for such preparation of short-term volunteers.
  • EVS Mid-term evaluation meetings are planned only for volunteers whose services are longer than 6 months (so lasting at least 180 days, but excluding travel days at the beggining and the end of EVS). SALTO SEE can accept only those EVS volunteers who still have at least 2 months left till the end of their service.
  • Annual EVS Event is organized twice a year; the first one in May is for the EVS volunteers who finished their EVS projects after beginning of May 2016; the second one scheduled in December is for the volunteers, who finished their service after December 2016 respectively. Former EVS volunteer (both short and long-term) can participate only in one Annual EVS Event.
  • For budgetary reasons, when there are less than 5 volunteers for an on-arrival training or less than 9 for mid-term evaluation meeting we might have to consider inviting volunteers to another time slot or we might need to shorten the activity to fewer working days.
  • All hosting costs of EVS training/meeting will be covered by the organiser - SALTO SEE; travel costs will be reimbursed during activity in EUR on the basis of original tickets (including copies of return ones), only 2ndclass bus and train tickets will be reimbursed (no taxis); only in exceptional cases SALTO SEE can buy a flight ticket for volunteer (flights are not subject for reimbursement).

Exceptions are of course possible, so if you have any doubts, remarks or proposals, please contact us at
