JINT vzw is the National Agency for the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union in Flanders, Belgium.
SALTO Inclusion & Diversity is a resource center, hosted by Jint vzw, that strives to give Young People with Fewer Opportunities (YPWFO) better chances in life and create a more inclusive society that embraces diversity of all kinds. To do so, SALTO I&D contributes and supports the field of youth and youth work, in working with YPWFO and embracing diversity, within the frame of the EU youth programmes. In this respect, SALTO Inclusion & Diversity coordinates the Strategic Partnership for Inclusion.
The Strategic Partnership for Inclusion aims to increase the participation of YPWFO and facilitate access of new organisations in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. The objectives of this coordinated approach between 20 national agencies (NAs) are:
With the ID Travels project, SPI wants to create short videos, geared towards beneficiary organisations, in which different phases of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects are highlighted to (1) motivate and inspire to commit to inclusion, and (2) to educate and inform about how this is being and could be done.

Call to action:
The basis for ID Travels are in-depth interviews in which storytelling is used as a method to let organisations and youngsters share the experiences and expertise they collected in youth exchanges or volunteering in the framework of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. These interviews would take a life course approach as each project moves along different phases – initiation, planning, execution and closing - in which they are confronted with diverse questions and challenges. Summarised in ID Travel language: a project is a long travel and we want to tackle every step in it.
The in-depth interviews will be recorder to create videos highlighting parts of the travel (testimonials) and spreading information. This will be accompanied by on-screen text and animation to share guidelines and tips and tricks from NAs. The videos will include a concrete call to action and reflect the idea that projects are ‘learning by doing’: projects are never perfect, you’ll always be confronted with difficulties to solve and barriers to overcome, we want to acknowledge this and put focus on how organisations dealt with it. ID Travels videos should be short (2-3 minutes), accessible (e.g. easy language) and engaging.
