About SALTO Cultural Diversity

SALTO Cultural Diversity provides training and resources for youth leaders across Europe looking at culture, identity, faith and ethnicity

SALTO Cultural Diversity is one of the eight SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field to support the European Commission's programme Erasmus+.

SALTO stands for Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities. SALTO Cultural Diversity provides resources, information, and training courses on Cultural Diversity issues relevant to different countries and regions in and around Europe.

As you may be aware, arrangements to support implementation of the Erasmus+ Youth Chapter through the network of SALTO Resource Centres are changing.

From 2018, a single resource centre based at the Belgium (Flanders) National Agency (JINT) will cover both Inclusion and Diversity. This means that the SALTO Resource Centre for Cultural Diversity, based at the British Council as part of the UK Erasmus+ National Agency, has now closed.

Aspects of SALTO Cultural Diversity's work - for example, in Intercultural Competence and young people's resilience - will continue to be supported through the National Agency's Transnational Cooperation Activities (TCA).

On behalf of the SALTO Cultural Diversity team, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and interest over the years.
