1. Open calls

Regional consultative group within the Strategic Partnership Youth@Work on youth employability and entrepreneurship: Call for expressions of interest

The Strategic Partnership Youth@Work between eleven National Agencies and four SALTO Resource Centres within the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth aims at creating synergies between different activities and support measures organised on the topic of youth employability and entrepreneurship, and achieving a greater impact and communication and dissemination of results. SALTO SEE joined the Strategic Partnership in 2018 in order to address the topic in the Western Balkan Partner Countries and reinforce connections in the European level.

An important element in the Strategic Partnership is the regional / national consultative groups working together with the National Agencies and SALTOs to strengthen the coordination and coherence between local, national, regional and European initiatives. SALTO SEE is establishing a regional consultative group in the Western Balkan Partner Countries, and we invite experts from a variety of fields concerning youth employability and entrepreneurship to express interest in taking part in the group.

More details about the role of the group, what we expect and offer is in the Call for expressions of interest, which is open until 18 April 2019.

Open calls for support activities on various themes and topics

SALTO SEE supports participants from the Western Balkan Partner Countries regularly to different support activities within the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth and European Solidarity Corps. The currently open calls are available here.

2. Meetings of volunteering organisations in the programmes of Erasmus+ and now European Solidarity Corps

This year SALTO SEE is organising already a third edition of Meetings of organisations accredited for volunteering in the programmes of Erasmus+ and now European Solidarity Corps. For 2019, we have renewed a concept and we will have two such meetings for the region of Western Balkans: one for volunteering organisations from Albania and Kosovo taking place on 17-18 May and the other one for organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia, taking place in July. The focus of the meetings will be to exchange past experience with EVS, plans with new European Solidarity Corps and get support by colleagues from other accredited organisations, experts, SALTO SEE and Contact Points. More details will be sent to relevant organisations as well as published soon, here:

3. New publications

The Section on our web page dedicated to the publications and resources has recently been enriched by two new publications. One is addressing the procedures of obtaining residence permits for hosted volunteers and is intended to help supporting and hosting organisations, as well as the volunteers in the five countries of Western Balkans, and the other one is more directed to youth workers being in charge of providing learning support to their hosted volunteers. You are invited to take a look and see what suits your needs!
