Training Course

4-9 June 2011 | Sofia, Bulgaria, Bulgaria

A training course for youth leaders, youth workers and youth Trainers who are willing to introduce or promote the environmental and ecological attitude in their “Youth in Action” projects (Actions 1.1; 1.2; 3.1; 4.3; 5.1).

The Bulgarian NA YiA seeks to encourage young people’s willingness to address environmental and ecological issues in their YiA projects. By promoting this training course we want to help them build-up their knowledge and to change their attitude towards environmental education and nature preservation. OBJECTIVES - to stimulate active participation of youth for nature’s protection and preservation; - to offer creative tools and methods for Green Education and its incorporation in the YiA projects (environmental education); - to develop sense of common responsibility to environmental issues; - to develop practical skills in “awareness making” and encourage the multiplication of “green” attitude amongst the young people; - to develop strategies for working on environmental issues in local communities.

Costs

Sending costs (travel costs, insurance) can be covered by the National Agencies sending participants to the training course (please check with your NA). Hosting costs (accommodation, food, program activities, and local transport) will be covered by the hosting National Agency.
