| Details | Presentation of the activity: This seminar is initiated by the co-operation of the French and Greek national Agencies, the 9 South National Agencies of YiA programme co-operation Network, the 2 SALTO Regional Resource Centres for SEE and EECA. This P.B.S is designed to encourage partnership building activity and developments of projects among promoters from southern EU, Eastern Europe and Caucasus regions in the framework of the Youth in Action programme. Aims and objectives: By facilitating establishment of sustainable partnerships and projects development (European Voluntary Service, Youth Exchange projects and Training and Networking projects), the PBS has the following objectives : - to explore quality aspects of sustainable international partnership and international youth projects - to learn about the youth work realities in different countries/regions - to reflect and explore possibilities of non-formal education activities within the Youth in Action Programme to support personal development of young people with fewer opportunities, democracy and civil society development in the neighbouring Partner Countries - to support participants to identify and start projects development in the frame of the cooperation with neighbouring countries. Target group: - Youth leaders, Youth workers, Project managers: - from "South co-operation network" programme countries (Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey): motivated to promote partnerships and projects with SEE and EECA/ - from EECA/SEE: motivated to promote partnerships and projects with programme countries. - having idea(s) of project(s) for future co-operation with neighbouring/programme countries in the framework of the YiA Programme. - experienced with the Youth in Action Programme or international youth work (hosting volunteers/exchanges) - having mandate from their organisations to start up new partnerships and projects - evidenced experience in work with Young People With Fewer Opportunities would be an advantage. - ability to work in "international communication English" Important : - Interested participants for development of projects within European Voluntary Service (action 2 of YiA programme), from EU & SEE countries, have to be representatives of accredited (sending or hosting) organisations. |
| Costs | Hosting costs (Programme, accomodation in double rooms and food) are covered by French and Greek National Agencies. Travel costs of EU participants to the venue can be covered by sending national agencies (please check with your NA before applying). Travel costs to the venue of participants from SEE & EECA regions will be covered either by the relevant regional SALTO or by French or Greek Agency. |
