The 'Good Better the Best' training course is aimed at improving the quality of Action 2 (EVS) projects.
The main theme areas are the following: - Intercultural and non-formal education as part of a project, - Improvement of the quality of the host projects and preparation of the volunteers, - The new programme 'Youth in Action' - Co-operation with partner countries The aims are: - to raise the quality of EVS host projects, - to make the participants aware of the importance of a proper preparation and the active role of an EVS volunteer, - to stress the importance of continuous and effective communication among all the project partners during all the stages of an EVS project, - to enhance the importance of non-formal and intercultural learning elements in the context of EVS, - to make the organisations aware of the necessity of continuous training, - to show practical methods of conflict management, - to diffuse information about the co-operation with partner countries, - to provide the participants with the opportunity to meet new partners in their future projects

Costs

Participants will be provided with accommodation and food + all the training materials necessary. Participants (or their organisations) must cover 30% of the travel cost. 70% of the travel cost can be reimbursed DURING the training course in Cantabria provided we have received the confirmation of the flight booking, the document which confirms the purchase of the tickets with a credit card and one way boarding cards (if you buy the tickets yourself with a credit card) or all the original receipts and one way boarding cards (if it´s a travel agency that buys the tickets). In case of the countries whose currency is different from Euro, the document from a local bank confirming the Euro - local currency exchange rate date of the purchase of the tickets. Unless we have received all the documents mentioned we´ll pay 70% of the travel cost via money transfer to the bank account number that you indicate in the document attached, after we have received all the original documents by post!!! NO participation fee!
