Exercise, Group Building Activity
This exercise allows you to bring out and raise awareness among the participant boys and girls of the resources owned and how these resources may represent a wealth always available which you can use at any time.
- To raise awareness about the own resources, knowledge, skills and attitudes
- To develop self - assessment skills related with the key competences in the context of non formal learning
The trainer / facilitator / mentor reproduces the design of the money box and coins
on the flip chart. Then asks participants to draw the money box on a blank sheet of
paper and to write on each coin a characteristic or skill that each one considers as a
resource that they own and is worthwhile to preserve.
When everyone has finished writing he/she will ask to some volunteers to tell what
are the resources that they have recognized to themselves. The vocational guidance
counsellor, taking a cue from daily activities of the participant boys and girls, will help
them to list all the resources that they put in place and he/she will make them see
how far we possess more resources than we think.
