to get fresh energy and attention into the group after long theoretical inputs, funny exercise after long periods of sitting and listening

Description of the tool

The person who is the leader stands on the opposite of the group, holding a pencil in each hand (or any other kind of things, the game is even working if you just use your fingers). One pencil stands for the left foot, the other for the right foot. Now the group has to imitate the movements shown by the pencils eg: if both pencils are “jumping”, also the participants have to jump; if one pencil is raising, they have to raise one foot.
To bring more action into the game you can do the actions faster and change movements a lot. You could also get a more competitive character in it – if a person does a movement the wrong way or loses track of what the leader does, they drop out of the game.
