Questionnaire Analysis Tool

This Excel sheet has been produced by SALTO to work with the questionnaires. It’s part of the overall evaluation process that will go towards showing the quality and impact of the training work that is carried out across Europe. This process is self-assessment based – it is the participant’s opinion of their own learning, not an external opinion.

How to use

Simply download this Excel file, and fill in the boxes on each sheet according to the questionnaire that they relate to. Each person’s questionnaire relates to one row on the sheet. You can only write a certain answer in a certain box – if you write something wrong a warning message will pop up and tell you what is possible to write.

What it does

The Excel sheet has formulae at the bottom of each page that will produce graphs and statistics for each questionnaire, and then a final one containing all the statistics, called ‘all stats’ which shows the learning and development of all participants from the pre-questionnaire stage, to the post-questionnaire stage and including the follow-up stage.

You can use the graphs and statistics in your reports to prove the learning and impact of your training.

You can adapt the sheet to your needs – remember to change the 'objectives' area to those specific your training. Don’t forget that the questions on the questionnaires should match the questions on the Excel sheet – they work together in co-ordination as a whole evaluation process.
