Radio E-volution: Youth Transmitter

Nowadays, the information flow is extremely powerful, and information as a resource is an inalienable part and an important element of the full participation of the individual in modern life. Alongside us, mobile, computer, social networks, television, radio, billboards, billboards, hundreds of gigabytes of information pass through hundreds of gigabytes of information from a variety of sources to which we are addressing. Every element of this stream is meant to influence our behavior or attitude and make us act in some way. Unfortunately, in this information storm we can not always discern the correct one from the wrong, the truth from the lie. In recent years, the concept of fake news has appeared, and in journalistic theory for more than ten years there has been talk of the so-called " "Democratic censorship".

With this project, we want to focus on developing critical thinking among young people and their awareness that information is an important resource for the impact of public opinion and attitudes. Through our activities, we want to show that the media, as a carrier of information between government and citizens, for example, are an important tool for the development of civil society and democracy in one country.

The main goal is to reach the maximum number of young people who are often the most active but also the most vulnerable in terms of manipulation in today's online and media space. These young people, direct and indirect beneficiaries of the project, will gain experience and insight into the power and capabilities of the media. Their involvement and involvement will help them to doubt and check Eastern information, be demanding and demanding and not consuming finished products. We want to turn them into active citizenship and raise their civic awareness through media literacy and youth / web media, and to develop and enhance their sense of European belonging by working together on a common online media platform.

On the other hand, with this project, we want to draw the attention of the participants and partners to some of the problems the EU is currently facing: migration, refugees, anti-EU attitudes, economic crisis, corruption, etc. By working specifically on these issues during the project, as well as working on them as an international youth media, we will strive to strengthen the development of critical and democratic European citizenship, to encourage the active social, political and cultural participation of young people in the construction of solidarity Europe.

Our desire is to spread the idea of active use of media tools in youth work among our partners, by introducing and distributing them a ready-made product - a media that is supported and actively involved by young people from the local community and participants in international volunteer projects. In the end, we want to create an international youth online radio network (platform) with our partners, building on an established foundation, which would have tremendous potential in working with young people. Gradually, young people from different countries will acquire important digital and journalistic skills, making them more open to the world, more critical, analyzing and understanding what is happening around them at the moment.

This project is for organizations that have experience or desire to develop themselves as a web radio / media as a part of an international team on the Radio E-volution platform /www.e-volutionradio.com/. This means they will have to keep the news feed of the web site, write publications, prepare and broadcast radio shows on Radio E-volution stream, open galleries, translate the main texts/parts of the web site on their languages to be able to use and update the platform in different languages. This project is also for organizations, that would have a desire to make future cooperation under KA2 project.
The activities will take place in the period 10 - 18 November in Sliven, Bulgaria.
