A Visit to abroad
Hi, we are 10 young people from Finland, one girl and nine boys (age 15) We all are in a same school class (“flexible learning”). Our hometown and school is located in City of Oulu, the 5th biggest in Finland ( 190 000 inhabitant). In our class we study more practically than theoretically. As part with our activities in the youth centre, we would like to join together a youth exchange in another country; because it would be interesting for us to get to know other cultures and new people!

So we look for open project in which we could join. We are ready to travel during winter/spring 2014.

We are interested and oriented especially in outdoor sports. We would like to get new experiences by trying some new sports together with other group(s). This would offer us a chance to experience some sports which are not so available in Finland.
Especially summer sports, since in Finland it is so easy to have just winter sports as a hobby. We would like to show you some Finnish ways of sport, which you might think that are a bit strange. For example our swamp football, finnish baseball and so on. We would get experiences of new sports together with you and we would learn to get along with different kind of people. Exchange of activities.
We are very interested in the culture of your countries, which is new for us and we would like to get to know it more. We would like to see and experience some places which are important for you and to get to know the history. We would like to get to know your culture in many different ways, so that we can learn new things and languages.
