6-month EVS for 5 volunteers in Bucharest, Romania who will be involved in a wide range of children and youth activities and also develop their own projects.

Main activities:
The EVS volunteers will be involved in most of our educational programs and projects, which are also very diverse and will offer the volunteers with a lot of learning opportunities. Each EVS volunteer will be at first introduced to all the potential activities and then he/she will choose a combination that best suits his or her needs.
We can offer the following activities and learning opportunities for our EVS volunteers:
• Organise daily or at 2-3 days intervals educational activities for institutionalised children, such as: literacy, reading, animation or IT workshops; These activities can be organised in 2 centres;
• Organise larger-scale activities for children, such as festivities, field trips, contests, new types of workshops etc. ;
• Administrative support for the staff;
• Integration in one of the organisation`s department (i.e human resources, public relations and marketing, fundraising) and actively contributing to its activity;
• Organise workshops and free events for young people in BiblioLounge, our center for youth;
• Cooperate with the Blogunteer.ro team;
• Participate to trainings and different events of our organisation;
• Learn Romanian and more about Romania`s culture;
• Prepare and launch a new project in the Association, with the help and guidance of our staff;
As such, the main role of the EVS volunteers would be:
• Support the Association`s projects and programs and help develop them by actively contributing and brining new innovative approaches;
• Contribute to the other staff work in the organisation and pursue the mission of the Association;
• Organise own projects and workshops for children and youth;
• Discover the local culture and language;
• Work together with the local community;
