The Partner-Finding Tool
Parcours Le Monde promotes international mobility for young adults from 18 to 30, regardless of their qualifications and experience. Our non-profit organization considers that international mobility is a structuring step towards inclusion and employability, particularly for young people with fewer opportunities. Whether it is a job, an internship or a volunteering, an experience abroad always provides many learning outcomes that could be personal, cultural, professional, linguistic and technical. Our organisation also seeks to promote international mobility as a professional and social integration tool among youngsters and professionals from public institutions and private sector.
With regards to its local activities, our organisation has built partnerships with many local organisations in the field of youth and inclusion: Local Youth Inclusion Councils (Missions Locales), Employment Houses (Maisons pour l’Emploi) and the National Work Agency (Pôle Emploi), among others. Moreover, we collaborate with some inclusion and employment services, Chambers of Commerce, universities and the network of Information Centers for Youngsters.
Parcours Le Monde believes that everyone should have an access to international mobility projects, and in particular the youngsters that are not in employment, education or training (NEETs): often, their lack of diplomas, qualifications and their economic and social situation prevent them from building projects for the future. In this context, an international mobility experience can make a change and help them find their way back to school or to employment. Moreover, it is a first step towards European citizenship: it makes youngsters with fewer opportunities aware of the importance of the European Union project. It is crucial to reduce the gap between youngsters who naturally become European citizens because of their social background, and those who are usually kept away from it.
