The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Directorate is an institution that has been culturally focused, local and international for "future-oriented youth" since 10 October 2007.
Our Directorate serves young people in Istanbul with active youth workers, volunteers, students, trainers, academicians, coordinators and project specialists with high knowledge, accumulation and motivation in youth oriented sports, arts, research, education, media and project management fields.
Our Directorate has been strengthened with years of institutional and sincere partnerships to enable young people to use sports, arts, research, education, project and media tools effectively. Non-governmental organizations, universities, local governments and institutions and organizations in the European Union; The Erasmus + program carries out social and cultural studies to develop projects for various funding sources, in particular the management of all these processes, to gain experience at local, national and international levels and to take on more active social roles.
The Directorate of Youth and Sports continues to provide better quality and sustainable opportunities for young people, including important partnerships such as the European Commission and the European Youth Portal, by being accredited by the Turkish National Agency of the European Union as the EURODESK Contact Point and European Voluntary Service Homeowner, Sender and Coordinating Agency .
Our Main Activities: Erasmus+ Projects, European Voluntary Service( sending,hosting and coordinating) Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, Seminars, Informative Meetings, Project Consultancy, sports Workshops, Courses on Social and Language Skills, Research Studies, Opportunities of Study Abroad and Scholarships, Contests, Camps, Festivals, Trips, Visits, Conferences, Fairs, Exhibitions, Parties, Concerts, Picnics, Healthy Nutrition and Wellness Activities, Social Fun Activities

Eurodesk and EVS office: mainly works with university students, and focuses on social activities trying to include youth with fewer opportunities into local and international activities through funds of the EU, especially Erasmus+ Programme.
