CFCECAS (Center for Lifelong learning & Skills Assessment for Social Work)

CFCECAS is an organization implementing activities all over Romania. The main purpose of CFCECAS is to invest in human resources development, design and delivery of social services in line with EU policies, organize transfer of experience and international cooperation for the promotion of good practices.

The target of the projects implemented by CFCECAS:
- youth workers and students;
- staff working in social services;
- vulnerable groups or people coming from disadvantaged communities to develop their psychosocial, educational and economic potential.

CFCECAS main areas of expertise: development of training programs and innovative projects for youth workers; development of social services pilot for the labor market integration of vulnerable people; training, coach and professional supervision for employees and managers of social services, public or private, for the provision of quality and quality management.

CFCECAS offers training programs and provides professional supervision and coaching for social workers, head of social services and project managers; programs to support youth and anyone who, at some point, faced with certain limitations psychiatric, social, mental, physical, or cultural for the social and labor market integration.

CFCECAS implemented in Romania a model of counseling services for people facing different limitation in accessing the labour market or develop their professional career.

CFCECAS is also organizing the Annual National Social Work Conference in partnership with International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW).

CFCECAS is a member of the European Network for Social Firms - CFFEC.

EMPOWER

EMPOWER project aims at supporting practitioners in the field of youth and social services to gain competences to recognize,prevent and combat domestic violence

Empower- Reduce domestic violence within youth

Domestic violence represents one of the biggest problems in the evolution of today’s society.We want to reduce this by gaining specific competences in the field

Tackling poverty and discrimination through non-formal education

The YE comes as an answer to the European priorities,by developing the competences of 35 young people recently graduates of social sciences and education

Prepared youth for an effective disaster response

The proposed training course aims at providing a framework of intervention for youth workers needed in case of the present man made and natural disasters.

Building alternative attitudes- an effective response to bullying

The project aims at developing specific skills and competences for the participants to identify and act in order to prevent bullying.

Social Europe talks

6-day training course for early intervention in preventing social risks.

Integrated community services

The aim is to increase the ability of vulnerable young people to participate to community life and growing the capacity to access community resources.
