Barrier-free Society and Youth Association

Barrier-free Society and Youth Association is an Ankara based NGO which was in 2012. Our main aim is to contribute to educational, social, cultural, economic, legal and professional development of young people and young people with disabilities in wide range of ages from child to adults.
Our objectives:
- To protect and improve the right of young people with disabilities
- To help young people with disabilities to adapt to the social life
- To fight discrimination against disabled people
- To encourage equality between young people
- To provide independence by empowering young people
- To support cooperation with young people with different abilities
- To contribute to employability of young people and young people with disabilities
We are a member of Turkish Youth Federation and Turkish National Federation of the Deaf.
Our working topics are human rights, discrimination, youth policy, adaption of disabled people to social life, Disabled people’s rights, equal opportunities, volunteering, campaigning, intercultural dialogue, social and cultural activities. We give trainings on sign language and project development to our members and volunteers.
