X-Change is a 3 day contact making seminar for youth workers and leaders to develop Youth Exchanges with a focus on Creativity, Inclusion and Empowerment.

X-Change is about making things happen, linking Irish youth projects and projects from across Europe to develop partnerships and youth exchange projects
X-Change is about planning youth exchanges that are inclusive and empowering for young people
X-Change is about exploring creative approaches and methods to developing inclusive and empowering projects
This contact making seminar will provide space for participants to
Develop contacts and networks to engage in youth exchanges with other participants working on the themes of Creativity, Inclusion and/or Empowerment.
Allow for the engagement of Newcomers to Youth Exchange projects.
Share information and experiences of their organisation, target groups and projects working across the themes of Inclusion and Empowerment.
Gain a clear view of the possibilities and priorities within the Youth in Action programme
Understand how to include non formal learning and Youthpass in Youth Exchange projects.
Applicants must have a group of young people ready for a youth exchange and that have a commitment to develop a youth exchange project in 2013 or early 2014 (1 May or 1 October deadline)

Costs
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
