17-22 April 2011 | Remerschen / Schengen, Luxembourg
13 tandems of coaches and young people from programme countries.
Priority is given to young people with fewer opportunities, for whom it is less evident to initiate an own participative project (rural, urban, social, educational).
Age of the coaches: 18 - no limits
Age of the youngsters: 15 – 30
The accompanying coaches can be professionals or volunteers from NGOs or public bodies and should be willing to become coaches in the youngsters’ projects.
They should have solid communication skills in English, since they are supposed to facilitate the communication in the group.
Tandems of coaches and youngsters will meet for 4 days in Schengen / Luxembourg.
Arrival on 17th, Departure on 22nd.
Coaches will be provided with tools and methods for coaching and project management, where as youngsters will be empowered to initiate, plan and implement projects in the frame of the Action 1.2 , Youth Initiatives, of the European commission’s “Youth in Action” programme.

Accommodation costs will be covered by Luxembourg’s National Agency.
Travel costs to the venue are supposed to be covered by the respective sending National Agencies (see list on the SALTO page), according to their rules.
Sending NAs will ask for a participation fee as a contribution to the travel fees.
