The aim of TC is to increase the quality of international projects in the Youth in Action Programme through development of participants’ competence in protecting young people in projects realised in cooperation with organizations from EECA region.
Aim of the training course: - to increase the quality of international projects in the Youth in Action Programme through development of participants’ competence in protecting young people in projects realised in cooperation with organizations from EECA region. After the training course participants: - will be able to do a risk assessment for Youth in Action projects (before and during implementation); - will be able to identify potential threats and dangers during international projects; - will improve their ability to manage the identified risk; - will know how to involve young people/participants in the process of identification and reduction of risk in projects; - will be able to implement various tools and methods that can facilitate risk management; - will have greater knowledge of good practice in risk management and differences in national realities in Europe. Target group: This training course is meant for youth workers and youth leaders who: - work directly with young people; - have experience in international project management (at least one project that s/he coordinated); - value the subject of risk management and have an interest in discovering it; - are motivated to work on the topic in their youth projects afterwards; - are from an organisation that is in a position to implement future youth projects or has their projects approved by the National Agency (we will work together to improve the quality of future projects); - are committed to attend for the full duration of the course; - feel confident to express themselves and work in English; - are 18 years old or older; - are residents of the Youth in Action Programme Countries and EECA region (we will invite 15 people from Programme Countries and 15 from EECA region).

Costs

This training course is co-organized by the Polish and UK National Agency of the ‘Youth in Action’ Programme and SALTO EECA. - Board and lodging will be provided and paid by the organizers. - Participants coming from Programme Countries: travel costs can be covered by your National Agency according to their own rules (please check before applying). - Participants coming from EECA Countries: 100% of travel costs will be covered by the Polish NA (no fee). - In some cases National Agencies ask for a participant’s contribution. Please, check this out with your National Agency. - Any insurance, especially medical, is a private responsibility of each participant.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
