Our White Sea IV: Youth participation in and throughout NGOs in the EuroMediterranean context.
Meeting
3-7 December 2012 | Larnaka, Cyprus
The meeting is an unique opportunity to meet with colleagues in youth field from programme and Meda countries, to discover and discuss the challenges of youth participation in and throughght NGOs within EuroMed context.
Networking between organizations should be encouraged in order to proffer young people with opportunities to actively participate; thus stimulating initiative, innovation and entrepreneurship. Therefore, the event shall generate an environment to facilitate NGOs networking that supporting NGO capacity building in region.
Aims and objectives:
1. To explore issues and challenges of young people participation in NGOs and thought them in wider society;
2. Better understanding of the approaches to Youth Participation in NGOs and Associations ;
2. Sharing of good practice amongst NGO to stimulate opportunities for participation;
3. Facilitating the networking process among participants with the aim of promoting new projects.

Costs
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by EuroMed Youth Platform.
Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. The travel cost of Meda participants will be covered by EuroMed Youth Platform (up to a certain limint).
