Stowarzyszenie "Jeden Świat" (Eng.: One World Association, OWA) is a non-governmental organization, which carries out the mission of promoting peace and mutual understanding by means of international and national voluntary programmes and education.

We have ca. 50 ordinary members and over 300 supportive members. OWA has the main office in Poznan and the local volunteer group in Warsaw. As we were registered as an NGO in 1994, recently we celebrated 20th anniversary of being an active non-governmental organisation, cooperating both with local and international partners and being well-recognised in Poland.

Aims of OWA are carried out through different forms of activities: short- and long term voluntary projects (we organize around 15 international voluntary camps in Poland every summer, send ca. 300 people to workcamps, and send and host ca. 50 EVS volunteers every year), and also training events, seminars and thematic actions, like: “Różni – Równi” – Educational Programme about human rights, refugees and minorities, “Antidiscrimination every day” – educational programme about antidiscrimination, “Free Your Idea” – educational programme about voluntary service. We also run the Global Education Centre in Poznan.
OWA is the Polish branch of Service Civil International, the worldwide peace organisation with over 95 years of experience.
