“Fighting youth unemployment through empowerment – A key for solving intra-societal conflicts”

Training Course

17-25 March 2013 | Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia

The project is dedicated to solve intra-societal conflicts through empowerment of young people and the fight against youth unemployment.
The TC is aimed to support youth workers and youth leaders working with unemployed youth, in strengthening their personal, social and professional competence, to share how to stimulate mobility and active participation of unemployed young people and finally increasing their employability through their personal empowerment. The project is dedicated to solve intra-societal conflicts through empowerment of young people and the fight against youth unemployment. The planned activities will give the participants an opportunity to share their experience, to debate and discuss, discover the needs of their communities, work on simulations, lead and be leaded by each other, to learn from each other and experience situations through the use of non-formal methods which will be implemented according to the needs of the participants. The participants will furthermore gain the skills how to develop and to lead projects, use tools which they know and which they will learn in order to fight social exclusion, discrimination and youth unemployment. After returning home the participants are expected to act as multipliers of the project, with the task to raise self-confidence among youth, plan and implement local and international activities where young people will gain skills which are important for their future employability, reducing the unemployment among young people.

Costs

We will reimburse 70% of the travel costs for the TC on the basis of the cheapest possibilities, e.g. second class railway tickets, APEX-flights etc. by bank transfer after the TC and the receipt of complete and original tickets, bills, receipts, boarding cards etc. Costs for board, accommodation and training are fully covered by the organizers.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
