Partnership-building Activity

1-5 December 2013 | KEX Hostel - Reykjavik, Iceland

This Partner Building Activity aims at increasing the knowledge of Erasmus + and increasing the competence of youth workers who have experienced Youth in Action so that they can develop projects and apply in the 1st deadline of 2014.
Aim of the Partner Building Activity (PBA) To increase knowledge about the possibilities for organizations involved in youth work in Erasmus +, the upcoming EU programme for youth, education and sports and to stimulate the Nordic-Baltic partner finding for developing projects to be submitted on the 1st deadline in 2014. Objectives of the PBA • Introducing Erasmus +, emphasizing new key actions helping participants to navigate the new programme and find a place for their concrete project ideas. • Exploring new opportunities, new rules, quality aspects, clarifying important issues. • Creating positive attitude and raising inspiration for Erasmus +. • Fostering partnerships for building projects in Erasmus +: developing project ideas and concrete action plans. Target group of the Nordic Baltic Partner Building Adventure • youth workers, youth leades, project co-ordinators with a good experience of implementing projects in Youth in Action programme (2007-2013) - already experienced YiA beneficiaries • 1 representative per organization, 3 pax per country • Are able to communicate and work in English, 18 or more years old, residents of programme countries • NA representatives are also welcome! Expected outcomes Participants should leave the PBA with 1) a clear understanding Erasmus +, 2) high interest and motivation to act within Erasmus +, 3) partners and ideas to apply for a project on the 1st deadline in 2014.

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
