DEOR seminar 3 x I - information, improvement and ideas

During a project the participants become a sort of secret community - you share wonderful experiences between yourselves, but it´s difficult to explain it to others outside the community - they do not share your enthusiasm or simply don´t care. How to do it right? DEOR seminar 3 x I tries to find an answer. An important but sometimes underestimated part of any Youth in Action project is the dissemination and exploitation of results (DEOR). During this international seminar we will improve the knowledge, experience and skills of project organisers on the topic of DEOR of their YiA projects. During the 3 days of the seminar we will together increase the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to do a good DEOR for YiA projects. Next to discussions, presentations and groupwork there will be workshops lead by experts from different areas useful to DEOR (videos, public presentation and communication, social networks/ social media and cartoons). Furthermore there will be the possibility to exchange best practises and experiences on DEOR strategies and methods the participants have already used and to create network between participants, their organisations and countries. The seminar will be facilitated by two trainers - Miriam Petrikova from Slovakia and Dorus Geerts from Estonia. 30 experienced YiA project organisers are expected to take part from 16 programme countries.
