"Compatibility Compass" CMS for EVS Host organisations to meet Irish Sending orgs & potential volunteers

Aim:
The aim of the CMS is to create a unique working environment where HO's, SO's and Irish Volunteers can develop partnerships.
Objectives:
1. To explore EVS themes arts, culture, youth and media
2. To explore and share models of practice in EVS.
3. To receive an insight into volunteering in an Irish context.
4. To develop compatible partnerships.
5. To facilitate and support applications for the 1st November deadline 2011 with a view to projects commencing in early 2012
Methods:
The CMS will use a variety of interactive and engaging methods which will allow participants to achieve their own objectives and those of the trainers. E.g. Groupwork, visit to a local group, team challenges, input from local EVS participant, interactive activities designed and delivered by local volunteers, creative presentations.

Costs
Costs for the trainers, accommodation, meals, materials etc are covered by the organisers (Irish National Agency.)
Flights and Travel expenses will be reimbursed by your sending National Agency
Depending on the NA there may be a small participation fee to selected participants.
