Training course focused on using the potential of professional coaching in Youth in Action reality.

Coaching is very “trendy” approach today, people “coach” their colleagues, friends, families…coaching is applied in the youth work too and it came into Youth in Action programme several years ago; However does everyone always really coach when s/he says so? Or is it sometime blend with mentoring, consulting or manipulating instead? Main aim: Training course „Coaching gets you!“ aims to rise a quality of coaching practice within the framework of Youth in Action program according to a new „definition“ of a coach and coaching in the Program guide Objectives: • To understand coaching process and basic coaching principles according to professional coaching standards • To gain basic coaching competencies for implementation of the coaching process • To get familiar with the different coaching tools and methods • To practice individual coaching in safe environment • To introduce and share good coaching practices in YiA • To support transfer of professional coaching competencies towards YiA realities
