Advanced Youthpass TC for EVS trainers

Training Course

8-13 May 2013 | Toledo (Castilla la Mancha), Spain

This TC aims to provide participants with advanced competences to unleash the full potential of the Youthpass process in the EVS training cycle.
AIM The aim of this course is to have participants acquire competences in response to their learning and in-service needs in order to exploit the full potential of the Youthpass process within the EVS training cycle. OBJECTIVES: 1) To help participants assess their learning needs regarding Youthpass vis-à-vis their practices and EVS projects. 2) To inquire about and reflect upon the Youthpass concept and Youthpass process in NFL in general, and EVS training cycle in particular. 3) To identify existing and potential competences for EVS trainers to assure the quality of the implementation of the Youthpass process. 4) To inquire about and reflect upon the best practices in different countries in regards to the application of Youthpass in the EVS training cycle. 5) To exchange experiences, best practices and learning tools to improve the quality of the Youthpass process within the EVS training cycle. 6) To provide an open space to raise relevant issues, questions and situations regarding the implementation of the Youthpass process in EVS with a focus on recognition of NFL and youth work, and employability. 7) To envision possible scenarios for the implementation and further development of Youthpass beyond EVS and YiA. By the end of the course participants will have gone a step further into the Youthpass process in terms of shared experiences and competence acquisition within the EVS training cycle and beyond.
